| Fairfax County Connector | Effective Sept. 3, 2011, the Fairfax County Connector will implement numerous schedule and/or routing changes to Fairfax Connector bus routes in order to better service Ft. Belvoir. |
| "Eagle Express" (Fairfax Connector Route 335) | Effective Sept. 6, 2011, the "Eagle Express" will operate during morning and afternoon rush hours between the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station and Fort Belvoir. Passengers must have a government-issued photo ID to ride this bus onto the post. |

| Virginia Railway Express (VRE) | The VRE's Fredericksburg Line (red) provides commuter rail service to Marine Corps Base Quantico from various stations along the I-95 corridor as far north as Union Station in Washington, DC. Due to heightened security, a picture ID must be presented to enter the base. Allow extra time as there have been delays at the gate. |
